IPv6 Modelling in OMNeT++
Černý, Marek ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
OMNeT++ is a discrete-event simulator commonly used to build various network simulations. It can be extended by INET framework that supplies models of protocols and devices from TCP/IP environment. This paper explores current capabilities of INET to model IPv6, particularly routing. Implemented extension includes modules of dual-stack router and dual-stack host that support XML-based configuration of IPv6 addressing and static routing. We also introduce an OSPFv3 module that implements most of auxiliary features and is ready for future development of the routing protocol core.
ZigBee in Building Automation
Liška, Radovan ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
Improvement of wireless technologies is a natural consequence of the progress in the field of science and technology. Usage of wireless networks based on the ZigBee technology, which are capable of indepent operation in present form, providing detailed information about physical environment and process management, brings many advantages. On the other hand, there is a serious issue about commissioning. This Master's Thesis deals with introduction of ZigBee technology and its usage, describes issue about device commissioning and types of commissioning. The main part of the Thesis is my own proposal for solving this problem, proposing algorithm using the Bitcloud stack for Coordinator, End Device and Router and its demonstration at the application. Along with analysing the application there are described possible solutions for creating a new network, adding a new node into the existing network and changing a node. The result is a graphical application and firmware for each device. The result of succesfully associated devices in network is supported by the measurement.
The examination of computer network and a proposal for changes
Žaloudek, Jan ; Bárta, František (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This work is consider a computer network of a company. It describes present situation, tries to locate problems and propose the solutions to solve them.
Usage of NS2 simulator in multicast networks
Hošek, Petr ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
The thesis is focused on routing in data network, especially on network method of multicast. The first section closely deals with particular multicast protocols and next with models of multicast, mainly Any Source Multicast and Source Specific Multicast. The main point of this work is implementation of multicast using Network Simulator. On the practical level, two laboratory exercises are included. In this part, readers have the possibility to make sure of reached knowledge of multicast and its implementation in NS2.
Protocol IPv6 and its implementation scenarios
Rýzner, Zdeněk ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lambertová, Petra (advisor)
This thesis deals with IPv6 – the Internet layer protocol and its situation in today’s Internet. In theoretical part are described major changes, which the new protocol brings to networking area – especially addressing, headers format and autoconfiguration. Comparison of IPv6 and IPv4 is also included. Practical part covers connecting to IPv6-Internet with selected transition methods, analyses these methods and features its implementation in dependence on network environment.
Application explaining the principles of IP addressing
Bukovinský, Denis ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This master's thesis presents the design and development of an application for teaching IP addressing in computer networks. The application includes a network simulator and an editor, allowing students to work with a predefined network topology, assign addresses to subnets, and customize the network as needed. It verifies the correctness of address assignments and detects address conflicts. The thesis covers theoretical background, implementation details, and testing of the application. The developed tool provides a valuable resource for students, facilitating their understanding and practice of IP addressing concepts in network education.
Forms of treatment in Latin America
PIVKOVÁ, Dominika
The thesis is related to the description of addressing in spanish language focused on the usage in Latin American. This thesis consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical and it is divided into seven chapters and two preceded chapters about the concepts of the addressing and politeness. The first chapter explains the function of addressing in spanish language. The following two chapters are dedicated to pronominal and nominal system of the addressing. In the fourth chapter are described the concrete types of addressing. In the fifth chapter is studied the sociolinguistic aspects of addressing. The six chapter includes the types of voseo, the grammatical aspects and the conjugation of the verb tenses in the form of voseo. The last chapter is dedicated to the history and evolution of addressing in spanish language. The practical part is based on the analysis of the forms of addressing. First analysis is made in the spanish corpus, the second one is built on a questionnaire directed to the native speakers from Latin American. The results of both researches are described in the last chapter of this practical part.
Forms of Addressing in Czech TV shows
Škodová, Kateřina ; Hirschová, Milada (advisor) ; Schneiderová, Soňa (referee)
Résumé The thesis deals with addressing in Czech TV programmes such as talk-shows. There are 54 programmes broadcasted in 2012 and 2013 that were analysed. Firstly, the term "addressing" is defined as well as its functions. Secondly, the thesis is focused on various kinds of addressing (direct and indirect addressing in particular), the relationship to vertical social distance and the frequency of honorifics. According to the analysis of selected TV programmes (the programmes are characterized, the results of the analyses are summarized in tables in the Summarizing protocols), it is described how the incidence of individual types of addressing is related to the type of the programme (talk-shows compared to political debates or conventional interviews etc.). The selected way of addressing largely defines the nature of communication used in the programme. In certain programmes the way of addressing is strictly formal (OVM), in other programmes the way of addressing is being "negotiated". The television is an influential media and its communication conventions are transferred to interpersonal communication - especially the growth of informal addressing can be observed regardless of the fact if it is a genuinely informal situation or a communication strategy that is aimed at having a pleasant conversation. Addressing in contemporary European Portuguese
Knollová, Eva ; Hricsina, Jan (advisor) ; Jindrová, Jaroslava (referee)
The presented thesis handles the theme of the addressing in European Portuguese. It is started with the critics of the existing terminology and in order to express the complexity of the current reality in the studied language more clearly, the author introduces the term of the allocution form which includes the addressing with pronouns (i.e. tu used with 2SG, você - 3SG, vós - 2PL and vocês - 3PL), as well as with the titles (e.g. o senhor / a senhora (Mr/Mrs) with variants combined with further titles and name/surname). It is worth to add that the work focuses on the indirect (or subjective) addressing (i.e. integrated into the phrase structure). The starting point of the own research is the theoretical basis comprising both external (Czech manuals, French vision by TEYSSIER 1989) and internal (based on Portuguese Grammars and studies) views of the issue. The research itself is inspired by author's personal language experience and the incertitude of the mother tongue speakers. The research method was realized by two questionnaires. The first of them (D1) gained 21 respondents coming from the academic ambient of Porto. The 2nd one (D2) covers a significantly larger amount of participants (202) as well as a wider socio-demographic and geographical structure (people of different professions from all...
